While working in the airline industry, Jamie developed various skills such as leadership, independence, quick problem solving, flexibility and maintaining professionalism under pressure.  As soon as Jamie became familiar with the Assistant Director role, she was eager to use her already acquired skills to get experience as an Assistant Director on set.  She has now worked as an Assistant Director on two Toronto Film School Thesis films, titled "French Club (2020)" and "Self Supporting (2021)."  Jamie naturally gravitates towards this role and his eager to bring her skills and positive attitude to every film set she's a part of.
